Tech Meetup Edinburgh — October 2026

The October edition of Tech Meetup Edinburgh, the city's long-running monthly general tech evening.

The format is fixed and well worn: arrival and pizza from 17:30, a product demo and a keynote, then drinks and an optional move to a local pub from 20:30. Free. The exact address is shared with registrants rather than published on the Luma page. Because it is deliberately not specialised — no single language, stack or sector — the audience skews wide: developers, founders, students, designers and people in tech-adjacent roles across the city.

Why go: the demo slot is the useful part, because you see something Edinburgh-built rather than a survey talk, and the generalist audience makes it the best single meetup for meeting people outside your own discipline. Best for anyone new to the city's tech scene, and for teams who want their product in front of a non-specialist local audience.
