Birmingham Entrepreneurs Meetup Group

The monthly in-person meetup for Birmingham entrepreneurs at 1000 Trades in the Jewellery Quarter, 18:30 to 20:30.

There is no set format. People turn up, introduce themselves and talk over a drink: founders at different stages testing a new idea in a constructive room, comparing notes on getting investment, and swapping the practical details of starting something. The organisers are strict about what it is not, explicitly refusing sales pitches and anyone marketing crypto, NFTs or MLM schemes, which keeps the room usable. 1000 Trades hosts, and buying a drink or food is how you support them. Free.

Why go: a small, long-running room with a moderator who actively keeps the sellers out. Best for first-time founders who want honest feedback rather than a pitch audience.
