ROBOTICS X AI Hackathon — HACKLAB

A 48-hour robotics and AI hackathon, the second HackLab, run by Hacklab with the Nebius Developer Community.

Doors 09:00 Saturday, opening ceremony 09:30, hacking from 11:00 and straight through the night. Sunday: breakfast 08:00, submissions close 17:45, judging 18:00, live pitches and awards from 19:00. Hosts are Pedro San Miguel and Beñat. Partners supplying hardware, models and credits include Nebius, Hugging Face, MyBotShop, Normacore and Linkup, and every team gets free credits across all of them for the weekend.

Prizes are stated at over €10,000 in cash, credits and robots. Durance AI, a French deeptech building brain-inspired chips for robots and drones, joined as a track sponsor on 23 October and will run its own track. Places are extremely limited and acceptance is by application form, which the organiser says is dropping soon; early applicants are told they stand the best chance. Why go: robot hardware plus sponsored compute for a weekend is a hard combination to assemble on your own, and judging is live pitches rather than a submission form. Best for robotics and ML engineers who want to ship something physical. Expect to lose the weekend.
