CONVERSATIONS 2026 — International Symposium on Chatbots and Human-Centred AI

The tenth edition of CONVERSATIONS, the international symposium on chatbots and human-centred AI, at the University of Amsterdam on Nieuwe Achtergracht for three days. Participation is free.

Papers are published in Springer's LNCS proceedings, so the programme is peer-reviewed research rather than vendor content: conversational agent design, evaluation, trust, and the human factors that decide whether any of it works in practice. Hosted by the UvA School of Communication Research with SINTEF, TH Lubeck and international partners.

Why go: if you build agents commercially, this is an unusually cheap way to see where the evidence actually is, a year or two before it reaches the conference circuit. Best for conversational AI product teams, researchers, and anyone responsible for agent quality.
