Workshop Wednesdays

Women's Tech Hub's fortnightly evening at DeskLodge House, open to all levels and to male allies, and deliberately unstructured: come to study, work on a project, ask for career guidance, or just meet people in Bristol tech. The Python Dojo and the Bristol Data Science and Machine Learning group run at the same event, so one evening covers three rooms.

Hosted by serrie-justine chapman and Susie King, 18:00 to 20:30, with light snacks and drinks. The group is explicit that dropping in for part of the evening is fine. Free, but the Meetup group is approval-gated, so you request to join rather than RSVP straight through.

Why go: the most useful room in Bristol if you are trying to get into tech, get back in after a break, or move up, and the only one where tutorials, career guidance and a data science study group share a space. Best for career changers, returners and early-career developers.
