UCD Student Hackathon

A hands-on hackathon at the UCD Innovation Academy in the O'Brien Centre for Science, run with UCD Careers, on a single brief: how might we prepare UCD graduates for the jobs of the future.

Teams form on the night or arrive together, work the challenge, and take ideas as far as a workable proposal in about three hours. Solo entrants are welcome and get placed. Free, drinks and snacks provided, 16:00 on Tuesday 27 October. Registration is restricted to current UCD students.

Why go: a real brief, a short clock and mentors from the Innovation Academy, which is a better first hackathon than most open events. Best for UCD students who want to try building something without committing a weekend.
