The second HackLab: a 48-hour robotics and AI hackathon with the Nebius Developer Community.

Doors 09:00 Saturday, opening 09:30, hacking from 11:00 through the night. Sunday: breakfast 08:00, submissions close 17:45, judging 18:00, live pitches and awards from 19:00. Hosts are Pedro San Miguel and Beñat.

Three sponsors run their own tracks. Hugging Face joined on 28 October: its teams build with the SO-101 open-source robotic arm and train and deploy with LeRobot. The others are NormaCore (an open-source data layer for robotics) and Durance AI (brain-inspired chips). Nebius, MyBotShop and Linkup supply models and credits free to every team. Prizes are stated at over €10,000 in cash, credits and robots.

Registration is open and places are extremely limited. A Luma registration on its own does not get you in: Hacklab has opened a mandatory selection and skills form, says "no form, no entry", and picks teams from the answers. Over 800 people have registered. Fill the form in as soon as you sign up. The venue is CIC Berlin in Treptow.

Why go: robot hardware plus sponsored compute for a weekend is hard to assemble alone, and judging is live pitches, not a submission form. Best for robotics and ML engineers who want to ship something physical.
