Campaign Lab Autumn Hack Night — 16 November

Campaign Lab's fortnightly hack night at Newspeak House in Bethnal Green: a working session on civic and campaign tech rather than a talks evening. Bring your own project or pick up one of the community's ongoing ones. 19:00 to 22:00, free, snacks and drinks provided, laptop required.

Campaign Lab is a community of progressive data scientists, researchers, organisers and activists building election tools and new ways of analysing campaigning, and the night is hosted by Noam, who runs the calendar. Newcomers are explicitly welcome, including people who have never worked on this before, and you do not need to be a developer.

Why go: one of the few London rooms where civic tech actually gets shipped rather than discussed, and the fortnightly rhythm means projects carry over from one night to the next. Best for data scientists, engineers and researchers who want applied civic work, and for anyone curious about how campaign data really gets used.
