The Data Lab convenes sport, data and tech people at the Bayes Centre to ask whether Scotland could become a serious testbed for sports and wellbeing technology. Sport now generates data at every level — athlete performance, injury prevention, fan engagement, broadcast — and investment in the sector is climbing fast.
A panel discussion then open conversation, chaired by Prof Ross Tuffee. On the panel: Nicky Reid, CEO of the Scottish Professional Football League Trust; Fiona McIntyre, CEO of the Scottish Women's Premier League; Alasdair Crawley, founder of Fanbase; and Mike Ross, chair of Lost Shore and the Raeburn Institute. Free, two hours, networking afterwards. Space is limited.
Why go: two league CEOs and a founder in the same room is where sportstech deals actually start in Scotland. Best for founders building in performance, wellbeing or fan data, and anyone in sport with a data problem.
