Ubud Writers & Readers Festival 2026

Join the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival from 21–25 October 2026 for four days of thought-provoking discussions, honest conversations, and meaningful ideas under this year’s theme, Samarasā: Awareness. Empathy. Action. Inspired by Sanskrit philosophy, the theme explores the harmony between Citta (mind), Rasa (heart), and Karsa (action). The festival will look at how awareness brings clarity, empathy builds connection, and action turns insight into purpose. The 2026 festival also features artwork by emerging Balinese artist Wayan Aris Sarmanta , whose work draws from the renowned Batuan painting style of his hometown.
