Toy Tonics is making its debut in Strasbourg with Gee Lane and ALOT, bringing Karmen Camina the blend of house, disco and funk that is the hallmark of the German label. On the programme: emotionally charged beats, playful selections and boundless energy on the dancefloor.

★ Margarita Tempête is a Brazilian DJ based in Strasbourg and a resident DJ at z-est radio. Moving seamlessly between vinyl and digital formats, she explores genres ranging from jazz to disco house, incorporating Brazilian, African-American and Caribbean rhythms with a joyful curiosity and a keen ear for detail. Her musical selection is informed by rigorous research into artists, performers and composers, driven by a desire to highlight marginalised voices. Each set thus becomes a sensitive and political journey – often unpredictable, always joyful.

★ ALOT is a Buenos Aires-born DJ, producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and vinyl collector, now based in Barcelona. After spending several years immersed in New York’s music scene, he joined the Toy Tonics crew. An Argentine Grammy nominee for his work with Paco Amoroso, he blends house, disco, electro, Latin rhythms and soulful edits with his own vocals, bringing a strong sense of groove and storytelling to his sets. He has performed at Gov Ball NYC, Lollapalooza, Good Room, Crobars and The Chocolate Factory.

★ Venezuelan DJ and producer based in Barcelona, Gee Lane has been shaping her sound for over two decades, weaving funk, disco, hip-hop, house and African vibes into sets that feel both timeless and forward-thinking. A member of the German collective Toy Tonics, author of several acclaimed EPs and highlighted by DJ Mag in 2024 as one of the emerging artists to watch, she has performed at Sónar, Primavera Sound and Panorama Bar, sharing the booth with artists such as Laurent Garnier, Honey Dijon and Gilles Peterson.
