Pitching a Halloween-season event for your October roundups:

MONSTERS ARE PEOPLE, TOO: 10 years of Draw Me A Monster — my solo exhibition at Gallery 1065 (Bloor West), Oct 23–Nov 1. I've spent 10 years drawing 2,500+ monsters from strangers’ imaginations; this is the retrospective, with 12 events across the week.

The Halloween hooks:

Fri Oct 30, 4–6 PM — Monster Haul: Custom Tote Collabs. A kids' Halloween costume party: kids decorate their own canvas trick-or-treat totes, then a monster dance party and a Grand Promenade runway walk where every kid gets crowned with an invented superlative title. Ages 6–12, $35.

Sat Oct 31 — the gallery is a trick-or-treat stop. Morning monster-mask workshops (10 AM–12 PM and 1–3 PM), then trick-or-treating at a real art gallery in the evening — hot chocolate for the kids, Baileys-spiked for the parents.

Opening night is Fri Oct 23, 6–10 PM, free (RSVP). I'm available for interviews and live drawing demos all week. Photos available on request.
