Skaken Awake Book launch

Marie Lynne Desrochers will launch her book, Shaken Awake—a compelling autobiographical account— on November 6 at Indigo Sherway Gardens (from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and on November 7 at Indigo The Well (from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

Shaken Awake is a captivating autobiographical narrative centered on the discovery of her biological father and the beginning of a new quest for identity. One day, she receives a message that turns her life upside down: "You should know that I am your father." It is not merely the unexpected nature of the message that shakes her, but the way it challenges everything she thought she knew about herself.

Marie Lynne cannot ignore the questions raised by this revelation. If such a fundamental truth about her origins had been kept from her, what other secrets might she uncover? This curiosity propels her onto a transformative journey.
