Some weekends are meant for slowing down, waking up early, walking through villages and ending the day with a meal shared around a local home.
This December, we are heading into the Sahyadris for a weekend that brings together village life, local food, community and one of Maharashtra's most beautiful treks.
We will begin at Kasara Railway Station and make our way into the village, where the weekend starts with a simple introduction to local life. Spend the afternoon walking through the village, meeting local families, learning about their everyday lives and exploring the surrounding landscape.
There will be time for a local experience, a traditional meal and an evening spent simply being in the village, away from the rush of the city.
Price: Rs. 1500 per person

This is a simple, community-led weekend, not a polished tourist trip. Expect basic accommodation, early mornings, walking, local food and plenty of time outdoors.
Come ready to slow down, get a little tired, eat well, meet new people and experience the Sahyadris beyond the usual tourist trail.
