Makalidurga is a popular beginner-friendly sunrise trek near Bangalore close to Doddaballapur. It is known for its scenic hilltop views, rocky trails, railway track views and beautiful early morning sunrise.

The trek is easy to moderate, making it perfect for weekend travellers, families and first-time trekkers. As you reach the summit, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills the beautiful lake beside the railway track and explore the historic fort ruins at the top.
