Macbeth by Gaurav Chakrabarty

APARAJITO PRESENTS
WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’S MACBETH
Directed by Abanti Chakraborty & acted by Gaurav Chakrabarty.
"By the pricking of my thumbs, Something wicked this way comes."

Ambition has a price. Blood remembers.

On a land ravaged by war, a prophecy awakens a hunger that cannot be silenced.

When Macbeth, a celebrated warrior, hears from three mysterious witches that he is destined for the throne, the future begins to haunt the present. With Lady Macbeth beside him, ambition turns to obsession, loyalty fractures into suspicion, and one terrible act opens the gates to a world of murder, madness and supernatural dread.
But crowns forged in blood never rest easily.
As Macbeth ascends to power, the ghosts of his deeds close in. Friend becomes enemy. Sleep becomes impossible. Reality begins to rot from within. And the throne he killed to claim becomes the very ground on which his empire of fear collapses.

In this authentic adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Aparajito brings the darkness of the original tragedy to the stage in a visceral, haunting theatrical experience—where every whisper carries a threat, every shadow conceals a secret, and every ambition demands its sacrifice.
