Day 0 - Journey to Chikmagalur

As the sun sets over Bangalore our adventure begins as we head towards Chikmagalur. We will embark on a comfortable journey of 300 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Mini Bus with push back seats ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We will pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.
> 10:00 PM: Start from Banashankari
> 10:15 PM: Quick pickup BTM Layout
> 10:30 PM: Next stop Silk Board
> 10:45 PM: Board at Bellandur
> 11:00 PM: Assemble at Marathahalli
> 11:30 PM: Pickup at Tin Factory
> 11:50 PM: Picking up at Indira Nagar
> 12:00 AM: Meet us at Halasuru
> 12:10 AM: Join at MG Road
> 12:30 AM: Board at Mekhri Circle
> 12:40 AM: Quick pickup at Yeshwanthpura
> 12:50 AM: Last pickup at Goraguntepalya

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. We will make sure to cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 - Waterfalls for the Eyes and Temple for the Soul
> 06:00 AM - 07:00 AM: Check in to the homestay
> 07:00 AM - 08:00 AM: Freshen up and have breakfast
> 09:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Visit Samse Tea Estate
> 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Reach Horanadu Temple have Darshan and lunch either temple prasadam or lunch in a nearby hotel self sponsored
> 02:30 PM - 04:30 PM: Visit Soormane Falls Jeep ride is self sponsored
> 05:30 PM: Visit Hanging Bridge Kalasa
> 07:00 PM: Reach homestay have dinner and rest

Day 2 - Bandaje Falls!
> 05:30 AM: Wake up call
> 06:00 AM - 07:30 AM: Freshen up have breakfast and carry packed lunch

Note: Kindly book at least 2 weeks in advance to secure forest permits. Limited slots will be available. Early confirmation is highly recommended.

> 07:30 AM - 09:00 AM: Travel to the starting point of the Bandaje Falls Trek Jeep ride
> 09:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Start the trek and reach the falls in approximately 3.5 hours
> 12:30 PM - 01:00 PM: Have packed lunch
> 01:30 PM - 02:00 PM: Start the descent
> 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM: Enjoy the serene beauty
> 03:00 PM - 06:00 PM: Trek downhill to reach basecamp in approximately 3 hours
> 06:00 PM - 06:30 PM: Reach homestay and sip tea with snacks
> 08:00 PM: Depart to Bangalore
> 05:30 AM: Reach Bangalore

Drop off Points: The drop off points will be the same as the pick up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

Once you have reached your drop off point it is time to head home take a well deserved rest and start planning your next adventure.

Note: Forest permit is mandatory. Please obtain it from the Aranya Vihara website before booking. Tripbae does not arrange or include forest permits.
