Thomas joins a West End theatre as a stagehand and is thrust into a world of bickering techies, an abundance of gossip and Polari, a secret language that allowed gay men to avoid detection when discussing... very important matters. Camp as Christmas, EEK! pokes it's nose into the underground queer scene thriving at the height of the Lavender Scare in the UK. After all in the words of Doris Day... 'But smiles were made dear, for people like us!'
