PERLE

I must make a map. Chalk on sandstone, marble and gold. I must root our route in my bones so I can always return.

PERLE is a twilight procession through Cambridge’s streets, over rivers and bridges, across meadows and along walls. Four dancers and two musicians lead you in a performance inspired by the anonymous medieval poem, 'Perle'. Follow the lantern-light and the pulse of folk rhythms woven into thirteenth-century chant melodies.
