Darren Kiely UK Tour 2027

Irish country-folk artist Darren Kiely brings a captivating blend of traditional and contemporary influences to the UK with his “Darren Kiely UK Tour 2027.” Originating from a small town in County Cork, Ireland, Darren has fashioned a distinctive sound that combines the roots of Irish folk music with the vibrant freshness of modern folk-pop. His musicianship grew out of an early musical education, beginning with the tin whistle, fiddle, and guitar, laying the groundwork for the emotive storytelling integral to his performances.

Darren’s path diverged from a potential accounting career as his passion for music took root, earning him national honors in Irish traditional music before he took a decisive step to New York in 2022. There, he immersed himself in the city’s dynamic music scene, shaping his style through a process of “addition, subtraction, and adding elements of music” drawn from his formative years. His music has emerged as a richly woven narrative, melding heartfelt vocals with folk-inflected country pop aesthetics.

His latest single, “Murder by Mistletoe,” released in October 2026, exemplifies his evolving sound and lyrical storytelling, following the earlier release of the introspective EP “From the Dark.” This ongoing creative journey has positioned him as a flagship artist on Sony Nashville’s Free Flight Records, a label dedicated to non-country music under the Nashville umbrella, reflecting his cross-genre versatility.
