Ferris and Sylvester – It's A Joy To Be Alive Tour 2026

The English folk duo Ferris and Sylvester, composed of Issy Ferris and Archie Sylvester, are continuing to carve a distinctive path through the UK Americana scene with their infectious blend of folk-pop and roots music. Their energetic live performances combine foot stomping, hand clapping, and gritty blues guitar work, creating a remarkably full and compelling sound from just two musicians. Their approach captures the spirit of American roots while infusing it with their own quintessentially English sensibility.

On their "It's A Joy To Be Alive Tour 2026," Ferris and Sylvester are bringing their latest album, It’s A Joy To Be Alive, to audiences across the country. Released in August 2026, this third studio album channels themes of hope and resilience drawn from the duo’s personal experiences. Musically, the record melds folk-pop with influences from 1970s pop, featuring lush strings and background vocals evocative of Burt Bacharach and The Carpenters, all produced with care at their own studio. The result is an uplifting and nuanced musical journey that complements their vibrant stage presence.

If you enjoy the dynamic energy and heartfelt songwriting found in modern folk and Americana acts, Ferris and Sylvester offer an engaging experience that stands alongside analogous UK folk-rooted artists known for high-spirited performances and richly crafted melodies.
