Red Sky July Live at Green Note, Camden, London

Red Sky July returns to London for their cherished annual winter show at the intimate Green Note venue in Camden. This British alternative country band, formed in 2009 by husband and wife duo Ally McErlaine and Shelly Poole alongside vocalist Haley Glennie-Smith, has long been a distinctive voice in the UK country and Americana scene. Their music gracefully blends alt-folk and country traditions with a fresh, modern sensibility that has earned them notable festival appearances including Glastonbury and T in the Park, alongside recognition such as the Tartan Clef Award at the Scottish Music Awards.

The band’s history includes overcoming serious challenges; notably, Ally McErlaine’s recovery from a brain aneurysm before their debut album could be completed. Since their self-titled 2011 debut, followed by “Shadowbirds” and “The Truth and the Lie”, Red Sky July have consistently shaped the UK country charts and airwaves. Their latest album, Misty Morning, released in early 2025, marks a meaningful evolution in their sound. It more deeply integrates folk influences with contemporary instrumentation, crafting atmospheric melodies filled with nostalgia and hope.

Red Sky July shared with fans: “Our annual winter show in the @greennotemusic London, will take place on 3rd December 2026. This event is a staple in our diary and has sold out every year, so make sure you grab your tickets!”
