Morganway – Calm Before the Studio 2026

Morganway, a dynamic six-piece band from the East of England, is embarking on their tour titled “Morganway 6 Calm Before the Studio 2026.” This run of intimate acoustic shows comes after a dedicated year of writing their next album. The shows offer a unique opportunity for fans to experience Morganway in a stripped-back format inspired by their recent journey to New Orleans for Folk Alliance. Attendees can anticipate hearing brand-new songs, reimagined classics, and a selection of surprises in a setting that brings the band closer to their audience.

Formed in 2016 by twin brothers Callum and Kieran Morgan, who lead with vocals, guitar, and bass, and keyboard player Matt Brocklehurst, Morganway’s lineup is completed by SJ Mortimer on vocals, Nicole Terry on fiddle, and Ed Bullinger on drums. Their sound is a rich blend of rock, folk, country, and pop, characterised by strong vocal harmonies and driving guitar riffs. Praised for its genre-defying qualities, Morganway has earned comparisons to Fleetwood Mac and support from the PRS Foundation.

The band has steadily built their profile through festival appearances such as The British Country Music Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, and Latitude Festival. Their latest studio effort, Kill The Silence, released in January 2025, showcases a fluid fusion of Americana, country, rock, and soul, recorded live at Foel Studios in Wales. This album highlights Morganway’s evolution and depth as a band, promising fresh material to be explored during this acoustic tour.
