Antonin Baudry’s two-part historical film follows Charles de Gaulle’s refusal to accept France’s 1940 armistice and his efforts to continue the fight. It also brings attention to resistance fighters from Africa and France’s colonies, a lesser-known part of the Second World War.
This is the films’ first presentation in Western Canada. Both films are in French with English subtitles.
