Christmas Card Calligraphy & Afternoon Tea

Afternoons in Bloom: The
festive addition

Afternoons in Bloom returns for
Christmas. This season we're partnering with The Together
Collective for three festive workshops, each one an unhurried
afternoon of making something by hand, in the warmth of our
Greenhouses.

This year, let your Christmas cards
say it beautifully. Join calligrapher Kirstie for a relaxed,
friendly introduction to modern calligraphy: a lovely, mindful
skill that's far easier to pick up than it looks. Kirstie will
start by talking you through your pens and inks, then lead some
gentle warm-up exercises before you play with letterforms and
words. Choose from a selection of festive designs for inspiration,
and create three Christmas cards to send to the people you
love.
Includes: all materials, three handmade Christmas
cards to take home, afternoon tea with unlimited tea and a glass of
bubbles on arrival.
