He knows more than your average
shopkeeper. And considerably more than he’s letting on.
Stick your neck out, ask the right
questions and he might let you in on his little secret: The Bone
Works, an illicit basement salon where the treatments are
questionable, the procedures are experimental and the results are
anything but subtle. Just what you need to stand out this
Halloween.

of Neck Oil on arrival to enjoy while you explore Al’s Bad
News.

second can using the token you'll receive when you leave.

YOUR UNBECOMING: WHAT TO EXPECT
1. STEP INTO AL'S WORLD
Start at Al's Bad News on Shoreditch
High Street, where Al, his wife Sonya and their motley crew will
draw you into their strange world. Keep your eyes open, ask the
right questions and discover what lies beneath.
2. TAKE A SEAT IN THE WAITING
ROOM
Once you've checked in for your
appointment, head into the waiting room, where you can enjoy a can
of  Beavertown while you peruse our look book and select your
transformation.
3. DISCOVER THE BONE
WORKS
Head down to The Bone Works, where
questionable treatments and experimental transformations await.
Take a seat as our team of makeup and prosthetics specialists get
to work on your Unbecoming.
4. HEAD OUT IN STYLE
Once your Unbecoming is complete,
admire (or despair at) your new look, collect your Beavertown can
to take away and head off into the night ready to turn heads (or
stomachs).

CHOOSE YOUR PROCEDURE
Every booking begins with 20 minutes
to explore Al’s Bad News before your salon appointment. The
durations below refer to your salon appointment only.

THE QUICK FIX · 20 MINUTES
One focused SFX makeup feature, such
as a scratch, bite, scar or stitched detail.
Total experience time: 40
minutes.
THE HALF WORKS · 40
MINUTES
A more involved transformation, with
more extensive makeup, multiple details or a distinctive character
effect.
Total experience time: 60
minutes.
THE FULL WORKS · 60
MINUTES
A complete, more elaborate
transformation, with full-face artistry or multiple SFX elements
and intricate detailing.

Total experience time: 80 minutes.

THE UPSTAIRS APPOINTMENT · 60 MINUTES

Experience The Unbecoming with our 60-minute appointment option,
located in the accessible upstairs area of Al’s Bad News. If you
require wheelchair access, please select this option on
DesignMyNight when booking. Please note that The Bone Works salon
is located downstairs and is not wheelchair accessible.

Total experience time: 80 minutes.

A NOTE ON YOUR UNBECOMING
The imagery shown is for

costumes are not included. The level of detail and complexity will
depend on the duration of your booked appointment.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
Please arrive on time for your
booked slot. Your experience begins with 20 minutes to explore Al’s
Bad News before heading to your salon appointment.
If you arrive late, we cannot
guarantee your appointment will go ahead. If you have not arrived
by 10 minutes after your booked slot, your appointment may be
released to walk-in guests and you may not be accommodated. Please
note that alternative appointment slots are not
guaranteed..
Your visit is designed to be a quick
pit stop, so once your procedure is complete, collect your second
can of Beavertown beer and head off to your Halloween plans with
your new stand-out look.

NO APPOINTMENT? NO PROBLEM.
A limited number of 20-minute Quick
Fix procedures will also be available for walk-ins each day,
subject to availability.
