Experience the magic of Sankta Lucia – the Saint of
Light - on 29 November at the beautiful St
Bartholomew’s Church in Brighton. Following last year’s wonderful
celebration, The LondonSwedes Choir and The Swedish
Church in London are once again coming together to bring this
cherished Swedish tradition to Brighton.
Lucia is one of Sweden’s most beloved traditions, bringing
warmth, light and hope during the darkest time of the year.
Experience a beautiful candlelit procession accompanied by
traditional Lucia songs and music in the spectacular surroundings
of St Bartholomew’s Church.
The service is family-friendly, and children of all ages
are warmly welcome. Children under 5 attend free of charge but will
need to be seated on a parent’s or carer’s lap.
If you require wheelchair access or have any accessibility
requirements, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We look forward to welcoming you for a magical evening of
Swedish Christmas tradition, candlelight and song.
