Welcome to Overture, a dazzling immersive spectacle from House
of Burlesque inspired by the extraordinary hidden history of 66
Great Queen Street. Behind one discreet London address lies over a
century of music, glamour, rebellion and spectacle, waiting to be
brought back to life.
Picture this: lost tube stations, wartime romances, rhinestone
market-traders and fan-dancing divas. The echoes of Pavarotti and
world-famous orchestras drift through the air alongside midnight
mischief, showgirls, dreamers and rebels. This is a place that
welcomed royalty, sheltered Londoners during the Blitz, heard
Charles de Gaulle rally resistance, hosted suffragette voices
demanding change, and became one of the most celebrated recording
halls in the world.

Now House of Burlesque opens the doors to a place where all of
these stories exist at once in an immersive cabaret riot with a
sprinkle of that oh-so-British naughtiness.
Upon arrival, each guest will receive a unique Lost Property
ticket. After all, London has been misplacing things here for over
a century. Throughout the evening, selected numbers will be drawn
at random, unlocking forgotten recordings, hidden characters and
extraordinary moments inspired by the rich history of the venue. If
your number is called, you won't simply witness the story unfold -
you'll become part of the beat.

So dust off your glad rags and join House of Burlesque for an
unforgettable journey through London's hidden soundtrack. Tonight,
we're dropping the needle on history.

Show Doors open at 7pm, please arrive early to enjoy our
immersive pre-show entertainment. Showtime is 7.45pm. Our show
finishes at approx 10pm, all guests are welcome to join us for
drinks after the show.

Overture takes place  at QT in Covent
Garden. The address is "QT" 66 Great Queen Street,
Covent Garden, London WC2B 5BX - entrance is on the left as you
face the main door of the Middle Eight Hotel. Questions? We are

You must be over 18 to attend our show. If you are booking on
behalf of others, please make sure they are 18 and over. All
patrons should bring photo ID.

before the show? Why not book for Sycamore at The Middle Eight
Hotel for our burlesque theatre set menu, and get 20% off your
final bill with your show tickets on the night. Sycamore is the
ground floor restaurant at the Hotel, it is a separate room to the
show room 1 floor away. Please leave approx 1.5-2hours for your
meal (pre-show recommended booking time 5.30pm -
6pm).

Accessibility: The
performance space is on the lower ground floor and is wheelchair
accessible via lift access from inside the Middle Eight Hotel.
