Driven by the vision of multi-instrumentalist Damián Antón Ojeda, Sadness channels raw, soul-crushing black metal into a breathtaking tidal wave of shoegaze, post-rock, and ambient euphoria. Over a decade since its 2014 inception, what started as claustrophobic DSBM on Close stands in 2026 as a towering blackgaze powerhouse—defined by iconic landmarks like I Want to Be There, an unstoppable release streak, and electrifying live shows captivating global stages.
