Crunch Fest Berlin: Sonic Death, Shaemless, Mud Grief, Dusk Saffron, Etsamoe, slowraw, L. Lakis

We're throwing our own festival, Crunch Fest Berlin — and everything we love is coming with it: a vintage & record market to dig through, a beer garden, and two stages of loud, restless music, bands from abroad next to the best of our own roster. Come early, stay late, leave a little wrecked.

Line-up:

Sonic Death — cult garage-punk lifers, now based in France. Heavy, raw and full of noise, with hardcore in its bones. Come see these legends, or be a loser.

Shaemless — a Dutch trio playing noisy post-punk with the sweat and menace of The Birthday Party: jagged guitars, no wasted motion.

Mud Grief — out of Gothenburg, a heavy tangle of noise-rock, grunge and stoner weight that lurches and roars in equal measure.

Dusk Saffron — washed-out, reverb-drenched shoegaze, dense and quietly urgent under the haze.

Etsamoe — angular alternative rock caught between shoegaze and math-rock, all sudden turns and raw nerve. One of ours, on Crunch Tapes.

slowraw — melodic songwriting that never sits still, folding shoegaze into progressive twists.

Lauren Lakis — LA-born, Berlin-based dark shoegaze with a post-punk edge. Haunting vocals, distorted guitars and melodies that stick around long after the noise fades.
