Salsa alchemist and global legend Gia Fu is back in London this October. With her signature sets rooted in salsa, Afro-Latin rhythms and deep musical excavation, the Hong Kong-born DJ builds bridges on the dancefloor through sound and storytelling. The result is a high-energy daytime party where Latin American and Southeast Asian rhythms meet. Landing at Colour Factory this promises to be an iconic London session with a specially curated line-up tracing links between different rhythms: Norsicaa - Malaysian-Australian DJ fresh from setting up her own label Sama Sama that celebrates new movements in SE Asian sounds, fresh on the back of her acclaimed compilation Ayo Ke Disco: Boogie, Pop & Funk from the South China Sea whose sets include Asian disco to all types of sweet global sounds. Moralito B2B Pacheco - Two of London's finest selectors Moralito, co-founder of Clandestina, and Pacheco, founder of Our Latin Thing, both known for their vinyl sets spanning golden-era Salsa and Afro Latin sounds come together for a one off B2B. Tiff Lai B2B Dominique Roome - Journalist and Radio host Tiff Lai joins forces with legendary Latin event producer and DJ Dominique Roome for a special B2B of rare vinyl from Cumbia to Salsa, Latin Jazz, Zouk, Reggae & Afrobeat. Pinoy Grooves - reconnects with his heritage through the music of the Philippines, digging deep into Pinoy Soul, Funk, Disco and Jazz alongside his wider musical palette.
