Finder: Meet Your Co-founder

A structured co-founder matchmaking afternoon at the HvA Kohnstammhuis on Wibautstraat, run by the HvA Venture Centre with AMS Institute, Demonstrator Lab and Startup Village Amsterdam. Participants are profiled in advance, then put through one-to-one introductions followed by open networking. Built for founders looking for a complementary co-founder, and for experienced people willing to commit at least sixteen hours a week to an early-stage team.

Walk-in from 16:00, opening session at 16:30 from Stéphane Segatori on co-founder dynamics and the conversations worth having early, matchmaking at 17:00 sharp, drinks until 19:00. Free, registration via Eventbrite.

The matching questionnaire closed on 26 October. Anyone registering now is welcome for the networking but will not get the five suggested matches, and the organisers ask you to arrive before 16:30.

Why go: the sixteen-hour commitment in the sign-up filters out the browsers, and the pre-profiling makes the introductions deliberate rather than a room of strangers with drinks. Go if you are ready to start something; skip it if you only want to look.
