LOVE IN LAGOS - LONDON

Love in Lagos comes to London on Saturday 10 October 2026 and starts at 4pm at Gateway House on John Wilson Street, Woolwich (SE18 6QQ). Mofe Duncan wrote and directs the play, which M54 Studios produces. It moves Romeo and Juliet to post-independence Lagos, where two powerful families are fighting over a political seat. The eldest son of one family falls for the only daughter of the other. Uzor Arukwe and Bisola Aiyeola play the leads, with Owobo Ogunde as Chief Adeyemi and Ruke Amata as Chief Okonkwo. The show also uses live music, dance and fashion. On Eventbrite the show runs 1 hour 30 minutes and is open to all ages. The official site calls it family-friendly, with parental guidance. Tickets for the London date are sold through Eventbrite and the official site, loveinlagos.com, which lists Standard, VIP, VIP+, Kids Standard and Kids VIP+ options.
