EBA Winter School 2026

The EBA Winter School 2026, titled "The Fast and the Fungible: Cross Border Payments in the Age of Tokenisation", is a three-day training seminar run by the Euro Banking Association. It starts at 7pm on Wednesday 25 November 2026 and ends at 4pm on Friday 27 November. The base is Martin's Château du Lac (87 Avenue du Lac, 1332 Rixensart), and the organiser gives the location as La Hulpe, Belgium. Swift is the host, and one full day of the programme takes place at the Swift premises in La Hulpe. The sessions cover where tokenised deposits, stablecoins and deposit tokens are really being used today and what is still holding back wider adoption. They also compare these instruments on design, issuer model, settlement and regulation, and give an update on the digital euro. The fee covers the seminar sessions, learning materials, meals and two nights' accommodation. Refunds are possible up to 30 days before the start.
