La Viruta Berlin 2026

La Viruta Berlin 2026 is Tango Rouge's tango festival at Ballhaus Rixdorf in Berlin-Neukölln, running Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November 2026. Four Grande Milongas with shows fill the nights: 21:00–02:00 on Thursday, 21:30–04:00 on Friday, 21:30–05:00 on Saturday and 21:00–02:00 on Sunday, with DJs Dušica Dekanović, Horacio Pebete Godoy, Francesco Cieschi and Natalia Fures. An afterparty follows on Monday 9 November from 21:00, Milonga Popular at Tangoloft Berlin. Fourteen seminars run in parallel tracks — eight with Horacio Pebete Godoy and Maricel Giacomini covering Biagi, Troilo, milonga with taconeo, roles and rhythmical base, and six with Lorena Tarantino and Gianpiero Galdi on the embrace, ochos, crosses, giros, boleo and sacadas. You reserve a set number of sessions and decide on site which ones to join; coming alone works, as partners rotate throughout. Eventbrite handles seminar bookings, and individual milongas can be settled in cash at the door. The venue is at Kottbusser Damm 76, about 300 m from U Schönleinstraße (U8) and 500 m from U Hermannplatz (U7/U8), served by buses M29 and M41.
