Uprising promotions proudly presents in association with Just Another Music Co. NEWHVN + Haal Live in Manchester at The Lodge at the Deaf Institute 26th October 2026 Emerging from middle of nowhere Ireland, the remains of a post-rock band formed the project Newhvn blending together their post-rock roots with their shoe-gaze and post-hardcore influences. Having toured Europe, UK and Asia - Newhvn have had years of experience on the road, building fanbases up around the world and have supported bands such as Gleemer, Touché Amoré, Trauma Ray, And So I Watch You From Afar and This Will Destroy You. They’ve also made appearances at festivals like ArcTanGent (UK), Other Voices (IRE), and Dunk (BE). Pulling influences from Pinegrove and The War on Drugs and combined it with their post-rock background, Newhvn took themselves to Black Bay Studios on the Isle of Lewis with producer/engineer extraordinaire Tom Peters (Alpha Male Tea Party) and a collection of 10 songs were formed, creating Newhvns debut album “Spring Time Blues”. This ticket includes a £1 venue levy for the maintenance & upkeep of The Deaf Institiute.
