Wednesday 23rd September, we’re back with another night of stand-up and some frankly bloody brilliant comedians at Vada Vada. This month’s lineup is a bit special: Headlining is Louise Young, as seen on Live at the Apollo and Comedy Central, Edinburgh Fringe nominated and tour support for Alan Carr. Basically, she’s considerably more famous than us and we’re delighted she’s agreed to come. Opening the show is Sam Hickman, the singing harpist, comedian, cabaret star and, depending on where you know her from, either “that woman who plays harp outside TK Maxx” or “that very rude harpist”. A third-place winner at the 2026 Musical Comedy Awards, Sam combines operatic drama, sartorial storytelling and gloriously funny songs, with Chortle describing her as “clearly destined for big things”. In the middle we’ve got Nat Young, Newcastle-based stand-up and winner of the 2026 Felt Nowt New Comedian of the Year award, alongside Eden Voss, who has spent a frankly unreasonable amount of his relatively short comedy career winning things. Beat The Frog winner, Best New Act winner at the Ram Comedy Festival, Disabled Comedian of the Year runner-up, Bath and Reading finalist, So You Think You’re Funny semi-finalist and now nominated for the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award. Four brilliant acts, one Wednesday night, and the third instalment of our little comedy night tucked away behind the Oxford Road Station railway arches. Holding the whole thing together is your host Chloe Reynolds, returning to Vada Haha to keep the comedians in line, the audience suitably entertained and the evening moving in approximately the right direction. Wednesday 23rd September Doors 7pm, show 8pm Vada Vada, Manchester Gran a ticket using t he link in our bio.
