Witty, literate, and occasionally feral, this is music that will make you laugh, cry, and ruin your evening in the best way. The project of Glasgow songwriter and performer Graham Gillespie, Peter Cat has appeared as a solo artist, a four-piece live band, and as various iterations in-between. While each version has its own flavour, intricate songwriting and a penchant for the absurd is something common to them all, with The Skinny’s recent appraisal of the band’s album launch praising “a sound that is challenging, alluring, and never boring.” FREEZER: Sheffield "progaragedelica."
