“Here’s much to do with hate, but more with love.”

The greatest romantic tale ever told?

Perhaps, but Shakespeare’s masterpiece is more than that. This fast, funny, and profoundly moving production debunks the clichés and cuts to the heart of why it’s his most popular play – we are far removed from the lives of kings and queens, but everyone has been young and foolish.

Here’s much to do with violence, sex, and revenge. Here’s much to do with the world we live in now, and Shakespeare’s plea resounds down the centuries. Hate is a poison, but if love is given a chance, how much better our world could be. Here’s much to do with hope.
