The Incredible Case of Francis Mildred by Lain Lumain and Sophie Pounder (Blindbox Theatre) Grosvenor East Building, GF 11 September 17th, 6pm When one day, Francis Mildred finds herself in a troubling situation, she’s unable to navigate her life in the same way. Surrounded by a family that don’t seem to understand, a community that feels the need to direct her and a society built to ignore her, she must find a way to solve the problem herself – or turn to drastic measures. Her absurd predicament becomes an opportunity to navigate grief, family and life after loss: a choice between looking back into the past or facing the future. Blindbox Theatre presents The Incredible Case of Francis Mildred, written, devised and performed by Sophie Pounder and Lain Lumain.
