About the venue: A brewpub rated 4.6 from more than 1,600 reviews, mid-priced, open until 10pm Monday to Thursday. It is a large, high-energy space that reviewers repeatedly describe as comfortably handling big groups, and it is listed as an event venue — so it is set up for organised gatherings rather than just walk-ins.

Getting there: The venue is on East Huron Street in downtown Buffalo, within walking distance of the Metro Rail's free-fare surface stretch along Main Street — a few minutes on foot. Reviewers note metered street parking directly outside, which is the usual approach; downtown Buffalo parking is inexpensive by big-city standards, particularly in the evening.
