NCPA Connections India Year 4

<strong>Tell stories. Build connections. Share the journey.</strong> <strong>Connections India </strong>is a youth theatre programme presented by the NCPA, created in association with the <strong>National Theatre, London.</strong> Now in its fourth year, Connections brings together <strong>young people, schools, directors, mentors and theatre-makers </strong>to create and perform new plays written by acclaimed playwrights for young audiences and has expanded into 4 cities this year. It’s about more than putting on a play. It’s about the process of making theatre: finding your voice, working together, exploring ideas, taking creative risks and sharing stories. <strong>How it works</strong> Young people across <strong>Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Delhi </strong>work with professional directors and theatre-makers to rehearse and stage their plays at the City Festivals starting Oct - Dec 2026 , culminating in a <strong>National Festival in Mumbai from 24–31 January 2027.</strong> From the rehearsal room to the stage, Connections is a celebration of <strong>young people, new writing and the power of theatre to bring people together.</strong> <strong>Follow the journey</strong> Follow Connections India Year 4  for rehearsals, behind-the-scenes moments, stories from the people involved and everything leading up to the festivals. <strong>Four cities.
