<em>Sahir, Majrooh aur Ghazal</em> <span>is </span>a literary evening celebrating the poetry of two legendary lyricists, <strong>Sahir Ludhianvi</strong> and <strong>Majrooh Sultanpuri</strong>, and their enduring contribution to Hindi cinema.

<b><span>Ludhianvi’s</span></b> deeply human poetry and <b><span>Sultanpuri’s</span></b> lyrical versatility brought literary richness, emotion and social consciousness into popular film writing.

Their work beautifully reflects the spirit of the ghazal while transcending its traditional boundaries.

The evening is led by <b>veteran journalist, writer and cultural chronicler </b><strong>Ambarish Mishra<span style="font-weight: normal !msorm;">,</span></strong> whose evocative storytelling and distinctive stage presence bring alive the words and worlds of these two literary giants.

<b>Conceptualised by </b><strong>Prasad Phanse</strong>, a noted voice-over artiste, actor and presenter.

The presentation unfolds through narration, recitation and carefully selected excerpts, offering an intimate look at the journey of the ghazal into Hindi cinema.
