With love, AKA: Maternal Health Packing Party

In partnership with Deacon Doulas, our chapter will host an afternoon dedicated to supporting and uplifting mothers in our community. Attendees will assemble maternal care packages to be distributed to women receiving care at the hospital while learning about the role doulas play in supporting mothers before, during, and after childbirth. Packages will include items such as: lip balm, fuzzy socks, lotion, menstrual/postpartum care approved by the hospital, and handwritten encouragement notes from the attendees.
