3-Minute Thesis Competition: Final Round

The Graduate Career Development Office invites the UTSW Campus Community to join us for the 2026 3-Minute Thesis Competition!

3MT celebrates the exciting research conducted by PhD students. Cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. Supports students' capacity to effectively explain their research and its significance in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. 3MT is now a globally-recognised competition. Over 900 institutions across more than 85 countries are holding a 3MT event.

The finalists will take the stage to deliver fast-paced, engaging snapshots of their research. Enjoy an inspiring afternoon of big ideas, big impact—and only three minutes to make it count. Lite bites and refreshments will be provided. Please be sure to RSVP.
