Map enthusiast and fifth-grader Ben Isaac is coping with the loss of his grandmother. After discovering a mysterious map in her coat pocket, Ben and his babysitter travel across Chicago to visit the locations she marked across the city. Along the way, they are introduced to Chicago history, communities, and culture.
