This year’s theme:
Desire Lines: Following Desire, Finding Freedom
You know that worn path cutting diagonally across the grass — worn in by people walking where they actually want to go, not the sidewalk someone else laid out? Landscape architects call it a desire line: a trail formed by desire itself, one footstep at a time. This year, we're borrowing that image. What does it look like to trust the paths of our hearts’ deepest desires, follow them one step at a time, and find freedom— within ourselves, in how we move through life and work, and ultimately for our students and the world? Through the Ignatian concepts of desire and interior freedom, we'll explore just that through the lens and experiences of women of color.
