The UO joins millions of others worldwide in ShakeOut, an annual earthquake awareness drill. Participants practice how to protect themselves during an earthquake. Perform the three steps of “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” as soon as you feel shaking or receive an earthquake early warning alert.
A cross-collaborative team consisting of the University of Oregon’s Safety and Risk Services (UOSRS), CRESCENT, the Oregon Hazards Lab, the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, and the Oregon Partnership for Disaster Resilience has partnered to bring resources and learning opportunities to students, faculty, staff, and the community.
