Are you ready to thrive at NC State? If so, join the African American Cultural Center (AACC) for the EQUIP Fall Wellness Workshop. EQUIP is a year-long initiative that will support first-year students as they cultivate self-awareness, resilience and community. Grounded in social-emotional learning, EQUIP's psychoeducational workshops empower first-year students to cultivate self-awareness, personal agency and emotional intelligence as they navigate college rigor. This interactive session will cover common first-year challenges, including academic stress, identity development and help-seeking habits. Through structured reflection, scenario exploration and peer modeling, participants will build vital skills in resilience and proactive resource engagement to thrive inside and outside the classroom.
If you have questions about EQUIP or the session, contact Andaiye Qaasim, assistant director of AACC, at [email protected].
