The USC Mann School will host its second annual symposium, “The Future of Pharmacy Business and Practice,” at the USC Health Sciences Campus on Friday, October 2, 8 am - 12:30 pm. Opening with a special talk featuring legendary football coach Pete Carroll and USC Dean of Religious Life Varun Soni, the day will include a fireside chat with Richard Moscicki, former executive vice president and chief medical officer of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and former deputy center director for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). Panel discussions will explore state legislative efforts addressing PBM vertical integration, next-generation career opportunities for pharmacists, and the role of pharmacists in an increasingly fragmented drug marketplace. USC Mann students may attend free of charge and should register by emailing Mauricio Saade at [email protected]. All others should use the registration form.
